Our bike rack features an innovative minimalist design that is small, lightweight, and attractive.
The body is fabricated from 10 GA steel and has a thick Nylon Coating.
This premium Nylon Coating is strong, durable and UV resistant while also being soft to the touch.
This finish is designed to be gentle on a bikes finish.
Our frame contacting components are injection molded from an automotive exterior grade thermoplastic elastomers.
They are soft, UV resistant and have longer cycle life than rubber.
We have chosen premium materials and every effort has been made to source soft yet strong materials that will buffer your bike’s frame from scratches.
This is a frame contacting rack by design so some WEAR AND TEAR is expected. We believe this is an acceptable tradeoff for the amazing utility and usability our rack provides.
USE THE PROTECTIVE FILM STRIPS included with your rack on all frame contact points to help protect the finish of your bicycle. Use your own judgment!
The L Bracket is fabricated from 1 1/4 inch square steel tubing and is powered coated in a beautiful black finish.
The utake bicycle rack fits into 1.25 inch square Class I/II trailer hitch receivers.
Use a hitch receiver adapter if your trailer hitch receiver is 2 inch square or larger.
We sell a HITCH RECEIVER ADAPTER 1-1/4-INCH TO 2-INCH if your vehicle has a 2 inch Class III/IV hitch receiver.
